Audience Database
The Audience Database is one of the largest and most comprehensive collective arts & cultural databases in the country. Registering 1.4 million households drawn from over 40 participating arts and cultural organizations, this resource, run on TRG Arts' national Data Center, is open to any arts and cultural companies serving Bay Area audiences. The Audience Database is a powerful tool that helps cut campaign costs, provides invaluable insights through audience data, and makes marketing and fundraising more effective.
The Audience Database is a cooperative, cloud-based patron database that allows users throughout the Bay Area to:
- Target arts and cause-driven consumers for marketing and fundraising campaigns
- Access patron behavior
- Run comparative market analyses
- Simplify mailing list exchanges
- Share data hygiene expenses
Who's participating?
Participating producers, presenters, and educational institutions come from all disciplines, including dance, music, museums, art galleries, historical associations, literary nonprofits, film societies, advocacy groups, and of course theatre!
Since the Bay Area network launch, our longstanding community users have included SF MOMA, Asian Art Museum, SF Symphony, SF Ballet, ODC, American Conservatory Theater, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, San Jose Museum of Art, Marin Theatre Company, Cutting Ball Theater, and Shotgun Players.
How can I join?
Access to the Audience Database is through an annual usage fee that grants access to TRG's Data Center for the full year. The current fiscal cycle is July 2023 – June 2024. Sliding-scale prices are based on your organization's budget size. TBA Company Members also receive a discount.
Once your purchase is complete, users will be contacted by our TRG Client Success Manager, Jenny Cohn. Jenny will assist with account set up, data import, and system training. If you have questions, Jenny can be reached at JCohn@TRGArts.com.
