Accessibility
We aim to create events accessible to all theatremakers.
- ASL interpretation will be available for the full in-person event. For virtual attendees, conference sessions will have auto-generated captioning at the live sessions and full subtitles for recording playbacks.
- There will be a dedicated, low-sensory quiet space.
- All venues are wheelchair accessible.
- We're asking attendees to refrain from wearing strong perfumes or colognes to support a low-fragrance environment. Learn why fragrance-free spaces are important and how you can support them.
Please reach out to TBA@TheatreBayArea.org with any questions around accommodations.
Covid-19 Safety
We’re asking everyone at TBACon24 to help reduce the risk of transmission. To prevent everything from negative health impacts to the cancellation of performances, it’s important we all work together to reduce risk where we can.
Here’s how you can reduce risk:
- Wear a high-quality, fitted mask like a KN95 or N95 when not eating or drinking. If you don’t bring a mask, we’ll have extras.
- Take a PCR or at-home rapid test at least 2 hours before attending.
- Get the most recent Covid-19 booster or vaccination you are eligible for. Check for eligible boosters.
While we will not be enforcing these measures, we strongly recommend you use them as much as you are able.
We ask that you do not attend if you have tested positive for Covid-19 within 10 days prior to the event or are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19.
Refund Policy
If you are unable to attend, please let us know at least 24 hours before the start of the event and we will be happy to issue a full refund. We apologize, but we are unable to give refunds for late cancellations.
