One of the best perks of being a Bay Area theatre goer is getting to be on the cutting edge of new theatre. This weekend there are not one, but TWO festivals of new work where you can see new performances take the stage. It is the final weekend of Playground’s 2026 Free-Play Festival and the Marsh continues In Front of Your Eyes 2026, a festival of new performance by women and nonbinary creators.
