Check out this theatre class during Bay Area Theatre Week!

The Artist’s Way at Studio A.C.T.

About this class:

Based on Julia Cameron’s groundbreaking best seller, “The Artist’s Way,” which has helped millions of people recover their joy of creativity, this one-day class is for actors or other performers, as well as those aspiring toward acting or performing. Through guided exercises and structured conversations, we will tackle our fears, uncover old habits, and joyfully embrace our true creative selves. We will examine core creative values, such as Identity, Abundance, and Possibility. Through this work we will learn practical methods to bring us closer to our true creative selves. Exercises are mostly based in writing, not physical, and no memorization of material is required. Just bring your open mind and open heart.
