Homegrown theatre is the theme this week!

We are thrilled to have four shows with TBA Highlights in our round up this week. With a special shout out to The Nightingale at People’s Circus Theatre for receiving two highlights achievements, both the Going Green achievement and the Homegrown achievement! The TBA Highlights program is about honoring incredible productions across the Bay that are driving the future of theatre forward. It allows audiences to select shows that reflect their values and the values of the Bay Area theatre community. However you pick your shows, there is a great selection this week!

The Champagne Staged Reading Series: A Black-Billed Cuckoo at Shotgun Players

About the show:

Brooklyn birdwatchers unite at Prospect Park in a close-knit group that is turned upside down over a rare bird sighting. A comedy that explores the complexities of loss, the power of wonder, and how to move on after missing out.

Far from your average staged reading, Shotgun gives their actors just enough blocking, light and sound design to get started and then we let adrenaline do the rest! Yes, there will be scripts in hands, but there will also be bold action and riveting drama.
