Agents of Change: Restaging our Futures

The TBA Annual Conference is a unique day for Bay Area theatre makers at all levels to gather to discuss pressing issues, gain valuable professional development, and network with theatre makers and trustees from throughout the region.

Dr. Myrton Running Wolf 

Opening Plenary Speaker

Dr. Myrton Running Wolf is an actor, director, producer, and educator, with a PhD from Stanford, currently teaching at the University of Nevada. Running Wolf will deliver the opening keynote focusing on the artistic opportunities springing from the intersection of equity, diversity, and inclusion with design thinking.


Beatrice Thomas

Closing Plenary Speaker

Beatrice Thomas is a multi-disciplinary performer and arts consultant who works closely with the LGBTQ and POC communities and has a special commitment to moving queer arts into the national arena. Thomas will present the closing plenary in the guise of her drag persona Black Benatar.
