"Hamiltunes" production slated for Fall 2017 0 J. Light Take your Shot Bay Area Hamilfans! I have secured the licensing rights to the instrumental score of Hamilton to be performed in the Bay Area sometime in October or November. Exact dates are TBD. All interested performers, please share your TBA profile link or a link containing your professional training background (vocal range, role(s) of choice, whether or not you are open to performing in the chorus) and current contact information to me at This production will likely run only 1 or 2 nights initially so the time commitment is not too extreme. Only non-equity talent need apply as no compensation will be offered, and performances will be free or per suggested patron donation. Each performer will get 3-4 tickets to distribute as they like for either/both performances. Youth and Adult performers are welcome to apply.  Let's share our love of Hamilton with the Bay Area community, especially those who couldn't obtain tickets to the SF touring company production. Front of House/Company Management and/or Technically minded folks are also sought to get this production off the ground.  Thank you for your interest. Jennifer

Take Back the Block: Divafest & Exit Theatre Petition 0 K. Cohan Please help Divafest and Exit Theatre fight drug dealing and crime on the Tenderloin block where they are located by signing this petition.  For the past year Divafest and Exit Theatre have been a part of "Take Back the Block" group fighting drug dealing and crime on their block. As part of this effort the group has created a petition to supervisor Jane Kim and captain Jason Cherniss that says: "We, the residents, community members and patrons of businesses, nonprofits and arts organizations in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco would like to voice our support for the removal of parking on the northern side of Eddy Street between Mason and Taylor Streets." They believe this will help disrupt the drug activity that uses these parked cars to hide drug sales and use. Parking was removed from Turk Street, one block away, and drug activity significantly declined. We hope to replicate that experience on Eddy Street.  Help Divafest and Exit Theatre by signing this petition:
