GUIDELINES FOR LISTSERVE USE:
- This is a listserv for Nomadic Theatre and Dance Companies who are engaged in producing theatre or dance in the Bay Area without the luxury of their own dedicated performance space.
- Please do not post calendar listings and show announcements. (We’re trying to keep the spam to a minimum.) If you want to e-mail the list members about your current show, please get their direct e-mails and pass it along that way.
- The listserve is a place to coordinate lobbying efforts and post requests for information and special needs.
- This is an unmoderated list and we don't wish to censor anyone... so please show respect for others opinions. (No flaming or soap-boxing.)
- Please use judgement in determining which needs justify a call to the community for assistance. Bulletin's like "Help, I need a lighting designer!" are encouraged. However, posting "Does anybody have a hammer?" ten times, is not. Use URGENT!!! in the subject field of your message only if it really is urgent. (Avoid the boy-who-cried-wolf syndrome.)
- If you wish to respond to a specific request, i.e., a desperate call for a stage manager, please e-mail back to that person directly, not via the listserve. Posting somebody's personal information (phone number, etc.) to the ENTIRE list is NOT a good idea, even if you have their permission. However, if the request is a call for information (i.e., the functions of a BAPP contract), feel free to include the whole group so that we can add information to what’s already been posted.
