A Task Force of Bay Area Theatre and Dance Companies.
The Nomadic Theatre & Dance Company Task Force is a group of theatre and dance companies with budgets under $100,000 who do not have permanent homes. Meeting together since the summer of 1998 under the auspices of Theatre Bay Area, we work to create opportunities for the future growth and development of our community. We have developed numerous initiatives that address barriers to creative activity for small performing arts companies, including references for and access to relevant technical assistance, opportunities for sharing resources and reducing production costs, and cooperative marketing strategies.
