About Future Leadership
Future Leadership is a pilot program aimed at supporting the next wave of arts and cultural executives. Made possible through exclusive funding by the American Express Foundation, this program helps arts, culture and preservation professionals refine their leadership skills to take on top executive positions over the next five to seven years.

Each participant in Future Leadership events will receive a fellowship covering the full tuition of $500 for participation in this session. Acceptance into the program will connect you to a national network of Future Leadership Fellows and will give you access to management expertise and advice from National Arts Strategies and the NAS network for a year.

Theatre Bay Area is proud to be a part of NAS’ national network of partners contributing to the Future Leadership pilot sessions. The NAS partners include: Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Cultural Alliance of Southeast Michigan, The Henry Ford, Illinois Arts Alliance, New York Foundation for the Arts and Springboard for the Arts.

National Arts Strategies’ Future Leadership™ program is made possible through exclusive funding by the American Express Foundation. One of American Express' three platforms for its philanthropy is Developing New Leaders for Tomorrow.
