The Bay Area has several different theatre awards and ceremonies. Theatre Bay Area is not affiliated with any of these award organizations, but as a service to the community, we provide lists of nominees and winners to several of these awards. San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle: The SFBATCC is comprised of several Bay Area critics and gives awards each year in the categories of dramas and musicals. The nominees and winners are usually announced in the late winter.
Dean Goodman Choice Awards: Bestowed by Bay Area theatre legend Dean Goodman.
Shellie Awards: The Shellie Awards were founded in order to recognize outstanding achievement in the performing arts in Central Contra Costa.
