Theatre Bay Area Annual Conference 2015: Be the Change

Join us on April 13, 2015 - and Be the Change!

The Theatre Bay Area Annual Conference is one of the most important theatre events of the year. It is a can't-miss event: a place to see and be seen, as well as take away the tools to take your organization or individual artistic career to the next level. Each conference is designed to help attendees Connect, Learn, and Celebrate: you'll connect with theatre professionals from all over the Bay Area; learn about big ideas and best practices in the field; and celebrate the successes of the Bay Area theatre scene, kicking off another year of exciting work.

The 2015 Annual Conference is titled "Be the Change." What kind of world, theatre, or career do you imagine? Start making it so. Join us and talk about your ideas - Be the Change! The conference will be held on April 13, 2015, starting at 9:00 a.m. Programming will continue until 5:00 p.m., followed by a wine reception ending at 6:00 p.m.

The plenary, breakout sessions and other events will be held at venues along Berkeley's Shattuck corridor, including Berkeley Rep's Roda Theatre, the Berkeley Rep School of Theatre, and more. And if you're out of town, follow and comment on the proceedings on Twitter using the hashtag #TBACon15!

Breakout Sessions
A wealth of breakout sessions designed to meet your needs, no matter what your activity in theatre: artistic directors, managing directors, individual artists (actors, playwrights, directors, designers, technicians), marketing, development, education and more!

Career Coaching
Conference attendees will have the opportunity to sign up for one 15-minute speed coaching session with local experts, addressing topics of interest to both organizations and individual artists.

Playwrights' Cabaret
Come watch staged readings of Bay Area playwrights' work!

All-Day Resource Expo
Check out the wonderful businesses offering career-boosting and company-supporting services to the theatre community.

Annual "State of the Art" Address 
The informative and inspiring annual address is given by Theatre Bay Area executive director Brad Erickson.

Glickman Award Presentation
This year, the Glickman Award will be presented to Bay Area native Marcus Gardley and Berkeley Repertory Theatre for The House that will not Stand.

RHE Fellowship Presentation
The RHE Fellowship, a new granting program created by Theatre Bay Area and the RHE Foundation, will be presented to a Bay Area actor. The fellowship includes a $10,000 grant toward career advancement.

Come mix, mingle, and enjoy wine and light refreshments with your community!
