Become a Theatre Bay Area Member

This form is for individual memberships only!

Becoming a member of Theatre Bay Area and subscribing to Theatre Bay Area magazine are one and the same.

Full-time students with a copy of a valid school ID are eligible for the student discount rate of $60. You can join online by completing the information below and writing in the comment field “sending student ID,” and then either faxing a copy of your ID to (415) 430-1145 or mailing to 870 Market Street #375, San Francisco, CA 94102. There are four types of membership:

  1. Individual: These members range from theatre professionals and students to aficionados. Students, see above for information on a student discount rate.
  2. Joint Individual: Membership for both Theatre Bay Area and Dancers' Group.
  3. Company: These members are theatre, dance or opera companies. Membership fees are based on budget size. E-mail Trevor Allen (trevor-at-theatrebayarea-dot-org) or call him at (415) 430-1140 x15.
  4. Organization: These members are nonprofessional organizations such as schools, libraries or other professional services (photographers, acting teachers) generally geared toward the theatre community. These members can post job notices, but not auditions or playbill listings (since they are non-performing entities). 1-Year Individual Membership: $70
(Includes delivery of Theatre Bay Area magazine and access to the members-only site.)

1-Year Joint Individual Membership: $85
(Includes benefits of Individual Membership, plus membership to Dancers' Group.)
