Now in its 18th year, this festival features original, often locally written plays in two distinct series geared for both adults and children, plus an original dance performance; it's a critically acclaimed showcase for aspiring playwrights and directors to launch new works. The Children’s Festival presents plays addressing justice, race, environmental, social and other children’s issues targeted for elementary- and middle school-aged audiences.
